Social welfare should be seen not only as economic matter, but also as psychological matter. The book discusses about people’s perceptions about household’s life. It shows that generally the people in South Sumatera percept themselves exist in a condition of well-being. It is also interesting that multidimensional crisis does not significantly affect to their life. However, their health remains in bad condition, so that it might affect to the quality of future generations.
